The Sunshine Coast is known for its vibrant arts and culture scene, and the Noosa Heads Jazz Club has been a cornerstone of live jazz in the community for the past 30 years.

Noosa has long been a gathering place for local jazz musicians and enthusiasts and it is wonderful to know that this can continue through the generous support of Bendigo Bank.

At a recent function Rick Cooper Chair, Sponsorship & Marketing Committee, of Bendigo Bank recognized the Noosa Heads Jazz Club as a recipient of its financial sponsorship program. This sponsorship directly supports the jazz club’s live events, which bring quality jazz performances to the heart of the Noosa Region and enable the club to confidently plan for the popular annual Jazz Festival.

This sponsorship with Bendigo Bank is not only supporting live music but also helping to keep the vibrant jazz culture alive and accessible in Noosa. Live entertainment plays a vital role in the social and economic vitality of the community and Bendigo Bank continues to be a champion for the arts with their support fostering a sense of community and the opportunity to share a range of cultural experiences that are enjoyed by so many within the Noosa region.

All of our members and guests benefit from this support; by hosting monthly concerts at the Majestic Theatre in Pomona, the Jazz Club continues to provide a platform for talented artists to perform and engage in a thriving live jazz scene in the region. These concerts are always well attended, some sold out, with a varied line up of local and visiting musicians. This year so far we have presented The Tropical Dance Sextet, Caxton Street Jazz Band, Songs from Cole, Jazz In Britain, John Reeves Quintet and more. The October concert is on sale now and features the fabulous Gypsy Cats.

As a lover of jazz you are probably already a member of the Noosa Heads Jazz Club but if not we recommend that you sign up and become a member. Annual membership is only $20 and you will receive a discount on some of our events and always be the first to know about what is happening and what’s coming.
